I am coming to the end of my term as Grand Knight. The past two years have gone very fast in some respects and they have gone very slow in others. I would like to thank everyone who has stepped up and helped with all of our activities. I look forward to helping our new Grand Knight and officers get started this coming Columbian Year. I have written most of the articles in the Navigator since I became Grand Knight. I am not sure if our new Grand Knight will want to do that. I am inviting all of our members to contribute by writing a piece about one of our activities. If you can write it on your computer on a WORD document, just attach it to an email to Chris Rzepski, he can then put it in the next issue. If you have any questions or need me to explain it better, please call or email me.
When our immediate Past Grand Knight Joe Badowski was in office he instituted a number of programs and activities. My administration has been not quite as active. Our new Grand Knight will have his own agenda. One thing that is needed is participation from all of our members. Since I took my First Degree and joined Council 5714 this Council has been very easy on its members about their participation. That is one of things I liked about this Council so I don’t want to change that. Because of this policy some of our events have suffered. As I move on I am asking all of our members to think about what they have contributed to this Council lately. If you feel you have done all that you can, God Bless You and I thank you for your help. If you maybe could have done a little more, now is the time to make that extra effort. We always need people to join in organizing an activity. If a few brothers each do just one thing to help it will take the pressure off of the one guy who volunteered to head the project. Please think about it. One thing will not take much of your time but it will make a big difference. Thank you all again and may God Bless you and your family.
